TROUBLESHOOTING
NONE OF THE EQUIPMENT OPERATES
System MisWire is ON. Refer to System MisWire - or contact your local dealer
Main breaker is set at OFF. Set main breaker to ON.
Sub-panel breaker is set at OFF. Set Sub-panel breaker to ON.
Equipment GFCI set at OFF. Set GFCI to ON.
Power switch set at OFF (if available). Set power switch to ON.
Components not plugged in. Plug in components.
Power cord not plugged in. Plug in power cord.
Door interlock not aligned or equipment bay door open. Align door interlock with magnet or close door.
Overheat protection switch tripped. Refer to Overheat Protection.
NO, LOW OR SURGING WATER FLOW
Air lock in plumbing system. "Bleed" system, see Start-Up Procedure.
Restricted Flow. Insure that the water shut-off valves are open - Insure that suction fittings sre not blocked by debris.
Dirty filter. Clean or replace filter.
Low water level. Increase water level to recommended level.
LOW SPEED PUMP DOES NOT OPERATE
Timer not programmed. Set function mode to desired setting and program timer.
Overheat protection switch tripped. Refer to Overheat Protection Reset.
Mode switch set in mode 2 or thermostat control operation. Thermostat needs to be turned up to desired temperature.
Circulation pump power switch OFF (if available). Set power switch to ON.
Pump not plugged in. Plug in the pump.
THERAPY JETS OR AIR BLOWER DOES NOT OPERATE
Air button / switch not connected. Connect hose.
Component not plugged in box. Plug in component.
Overheat protection switch tripped. Refer to Overheat Protection Reset.
THERAPY JETS INOPERATIVE
Dirty filter. Clean or replace filter.
Shut-off valves closed. Open valves.
Thermal overload tripping. Refer to Operational Considerations.
Overheat protection switch tripped. Refer to Overheat Protection Reset.
Jets not properly adjusted. Adjust jets properly - or contact your local dealer.
Diverter valve not properly adjusted. Adjust diverter valve properly - or contact your local dealer.
WATER LEAKS
Spa overfilled. Adjust spa water level.
Too many people in spa. Adjust spa water level.
Drain valve left open. Shut off drain valve.
Couplings or unions loose. Tighten or contact your local dealer.
Incorrect water chemistry. Contact your local dealer.
Pump seal leaking. Contact your local dealer.
Plumbing connections. Contact your local dealer.
Water dripping from topside or control buttons. Contact your local dealer.
Water in air blower plumbing. Contact your local dealer.
LIGHT INOPERATIVE
Light bulb defective. Replace bulb - or contact your local dealer.
Reflector fallen off. Replace reflector - or contact your local dealer.
Not plugged in. Plug in cord.
Air button / switch hose not connected. Connected hose.
OZONATOR INOPERATIVE
Power switch off. Set to ON.
Not plugged in. Plug in cord.
Low water flow. Clean or replace filter - or contact your local dealer.
Ozone bulb defective. Contact your local dealer.
NO HEAT
Thermostat not set correctly. Adjust thermostat setting.
Overheat protection switch tripped. Refer to Overheat Protection Reset.
System in wrong mode, check if air blower circuit is ON. Refer to Thermostat under Heater Operation.
No power to heater. Reset breaker at service panel.
Low water flow. Clean or replace filter.
Improper water flow. Refer to "NO, LOW OR SURGING WATER FLOW" section above.
Spa cover not installed. Replace spa cover.
LOW HEAT
Inaccurate thermometer. Measure water temperature with an accurate thermometer.
Insufficient heat time. Increase heating periods on timer operation.
Thermostat not set correctly. Adjust thermostat setting.
Spa cover not installed. Replace spa cover.
Overheat protection switch tripped. Refer to Overheat Protection Reset.
Temperature sensor not in drywell. Place sensor in drywell - or contact your local dealer.
Improper water flow. Refer to "NO, LOW OR SURGING WATER FLOW" section above.
HIGH HEAT
Temperature sensor not in drywell. Place sensor in drywell - or contact your local dealer.
Jets left running continually. Turn OFF jets.
Low speed pump running continuously. Set timer correctly.
Thermostat set too high / maximum. Adjust thermostat setting.
High air temperature. Remove spa cover.
GFCI TRIPPED OCCASIONALLY
Lightning / electrical storm. Reset GFCI.
Power surge. Reset GFCI.
Extremely humid conditions. Reset GFCI.
Radio frequency interference. Reset GFCI.
NOTE: Assure that the equipment is properly grounded and bonded.
GFCI TRIPPED REPEATEDLY
Defective component. Contact your local dealer.
